There were so many activities to enjoy, like cycling and snorkeling. We spent the day exploring the surroundings and had a great time diving. The owner was super cool and gave us all the information we needed. The place was close to the beach and market, making it super convenient for us.

The only thing we wished for was a livelier atmosphere in the evenings. Maybe some more music or a chill hangout area for young party-goers like us would have been awesome.

One thing I truly loved about my stay at Awon Mirissa was the charming and cozy decoration in the hotel's general areas. The beautiful artwork on the walls and the comfortable furniture created a soothing atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. As a senior woman, I really appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The hallways were wide and well lit, making it easy for me to navigate with my walking aid. The staff were also extremely kind and helpful, always ready to assist me whenever I needed it.

One small improvement I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is to have handrails installed in the bathrooms. This would provide extra support and stability for those who may require it.

Awon Hotel is one of my favorite places to stay. Dry cleaning, laundry facilities, and ironing service? Who needs them! And don't get me started on the free parking, on-site restaurant, and complimentary bottled water. So fancy!

Oh, and let's not forget those lovely cockroach companions I found during my stay. Such delightful company!

A welcome base for exploring Mirissa. An incredible bed in our room. The owner upon arrival was friendly. Near to the downtown, 15 minutes on foot. Appreciated their on-site restaurant Awon food center, it was good.

We had a blast exploring the surroundings and trying out different activities. From cycling along the coast to snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters, there was never a dull moment. The array of activities available kept us entertained throughout our stay, making it a memorable trip.

If there's one thing I'd ask for, it would be more options for nightlife and partying. While the hotel itself provided a great base for our adventures, we wished there were more vibrant party scenes or clubs nearby where we could dance the night away.

I had a really fantastic stay at this hotel. The room I stayed in was modern and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities I needed. The hotel is located in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the beach. The owner was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience, even arranging for me to swim with turtles. The breakfast was good and the laundry service was fast. I highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

The absolute best tour I've ever experienced! The owner went above and beyond to ensure my journey was perfect. The rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable with the most amazing beds and pillows. The Wi-Fi was super fast, and the bathrooms were spotless with warm showers. The owner even arranged an incredible whale watching trip for me. The breakfast was delicious, especially the omelet, and the location of the hotel was ideal, just a short 5-minute walk to the beach. I highly recommend this fantastic place!

I recently stayed at Awon in Mirissa for 5 nights and had a fantastic time. The owner, Thusath, was so kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, and the location was peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I even got to meet Thusath's adorable newborn daughter! I highly recommend this lovely hotel!

Totally recommend this hotel.

The guest house was adorable, with lots of lovely flowers and plants. It was just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for our Christmas getaway. The owner was incredibly helpful and arranged a great price for our whale watching tour. He even gave us a free tuk tuk ride and drove us to our next destination in his car. The staff were friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Plus, the room was spotless and the bathroom actually worked properly. And can we talk about the super comfy bed? Best sleep ever!

One downside was that breakfast was only served from 8 to 10, which didn't work for us when we had early morning surfing lessons. Also, the pictures of the accommodation online looked nicer than it actually was.

Lovely place to stay, friendly owner with lots of information on the area. Hired a scooter, kept our bags safe, good breakfast, comfortable rooms, short walk to the beach and restaurants.

Felt like it was our own home, no complaints at all.
